VEIT’s Wisconsin Facility Blends Modern Design with Company Heritage

Veit Wisconsin - Exterior Entry and Canopy

VEIT saw rapid growth in Wisconsin and set out to build a high-profile corporate facility to support operations and prepare for future market expansion. The Minnesota-based company wanted this facility to be iconic, reflecting their ambition and vision.

To ensure consistency across locations, the facility’s design aligns with the architectural branding and heritage of VEIT’s Minnesota headquarters. It consolidates all operations into a single location, including equipment storage, maintenance, conference rooms, training areas, as well as office and administrative spaces.

The project reflects the company’s “employees first” mindset by prioritizing their well-being. Thoughtful design choices include abundant natural light, scenic views, and spacious break rooms to encourage social interaction. Open floor connections between levels improve collaboration in the workspace. High-quality finishes and branded details throughout the building highlight the company’s commitment to its staff and build team pride.

At the entrance, the design makes a bold statement with a piece of company machinery integrated into the building. A retired VEIT excavator arm serves as both a monument and a structural support for the signature canopy. Engineers calculated the loads for each component with precision, making the design both visually striking and structurally sound.
