The corporate office required continuous occupation and regular operations throughout the construction process. We partnered closely with A.O. Smith leadership to develop a seamless, highly efficient remodeling strategy. Our team executed the A.O. Smith Office Renovation one floor at a time to minimize operational disruptions. We temporarily relocated dedicated staff to the remaining two floors during each strategic phase. This integrated approach ensured the company maintained peak performance while we confidently brought their new architectural vision to fruition.
The original workspace featured uncommon 20-by-50-inch acoustic ceiling tiles throughout the entire facility. Replacing this massive ceiling infrastructure would have generated significant and unnecessary project costs. Our design team developed an innovative solution to salvage and strategically reuse the existing tiles. We carefully specified modern lighting fixtures to fit perfectly within the legacy tile framework. We selectively installed premium new tiles as striking statement pieces in the fully refurbished focal areas.
A core aesthetic challenge involved modernizing the dynamic workspace while skillfully preserving the original base construction. Refinished existing solid wood doors are retained in their original locations. Our team also preserved the established electrical systems and complemented them with advanced new lighting installations.
