To meet the growing demand for industrial/manufacturing space in Southeast Wisconsin, Zilber engaged Zimmerman to generate a design for a 524,000 sq. ft. speculative industrial facility in the Kenosha Corporate Park. Shortly before the building was completed, Zilber Property Group announced that Silgan Containers agreed to occupy the entire building for its manufacturing and distribution operations. Zimmerman was further engaged in providing interior build-out planning and design services for Silgan.

Zilber broke ground on the project in the fall of 2018 and Silgan began operations at the facility in the summer of 2019. Zilber Property Group identified Janesville, specifically Interstate I-90 as a significant logistic-centric corridor featuring access to Chicago, Madison, and Minneapolis. After successfully developing and fully leasing out its first completed facility in the Janesville area, Zilber engaged Zimmerman to plan and design two follow-up projects. The location of the building along the I-90 Corridor in Janesville provides strategic logistical access to major metropolitan areas such as Chicago, Madison, and Minneapolis.
